The aim of the logbook project is to establish a common standard for Cardiovascular Surgery assistant training at both national and international levels and to develop a software solution that ensures training is recorded, traceable, measurable, and comparable. This solution enables educational providers, institutions, and training fields to become measurable and traceable within this context.
The project was implemented with the support of European Union funding for the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. Through web and mobile applications, training programs are planned, each stage is digitally recorded, and these records can be monitored, queried, and reported. CVs can be automatically generated from the data recorded at the beginning of specialization training (assistants). Educational activities, ongoing training opportunities, participation details, and interventional/surgical procedures are documented, monitored, and compared.
